Mr Kilu’s Story
Kilu is a sweet whippet who is a bit of a mama’s boy. He does whatever he’s told because he knows he’ll get a treato for that. It’s like doing business with sighthounds you know.
Not built for endurance, you often find him at the end of the hiking team like a shadow behind his ma. But don’t let that fool you, he enjoys coursing and loves to be in front of his pals.
Lately his mum, Ingrid, tries to encourage a better use of that long snoot, so Kilu has been doing scentwork, proudly wearing his Top Dog colored Haqihana Harness as his ‘work uniform’ and pressing his snoot on the target so hard that it bends. Don’t worry no noodle dog was harmed in the making of NZ’s coolest Mr Whippy.

No chaffing
The harness is adjusted and sitting perfectly. No underarm chafing which was the main issue Porter experienced with other brands of harnesses. We go for runs so it’s great that it’s so light and sturdy. Thanks so much! 😊
