Gracie’s Story
After waiting far too long in a care of Greyhound Safety Net, Gracie’s life changed forever in the middle of the 2020’s Covid lockdown, when she finally found her forever home. Her adoption profile painted a heartbreaking picture. With only one eye, bald thighs, a half-amputated tail, and a coat in terrible condition, Gracie looked tired and defeated. But when Libby and Tony saw her, they didn’t even glance at another dog. They knew straight away that she was the one. Gracie needed love, and they were ready to give her the safe, happy home she deserved.
Unlike the typical quiet and laid-back greyhound, Gracie was rather loud, demanding, reactive, and full of energy. The early days weren’t easy, but over time she began to relax and settle, finally realising she was safe and truly at home.
With a nourishing diet, plenty of exercise, and endless love, Gracie has transformed into a strong, shiny, and confident girl. She’s still noisy and bursting with energy, but she’s also hilarious, affectionate, and so much fun to be around. You can follow her adventures on Instagram @gracie.grace.greyhound

No chaffing
The harness is adjusted and sitting perfectly. No underarm chafing which was the main issue Porter experienced with other brands of harnesses. We go for runs so it’s great that it’s so light and sturdy. Thanks so much! 😊
Freed Sonic up for Zoomies!
